    • You need not more than this for base camp cooking

I am very happy I decided not to buy one of the expensive models made by Campingaz and instead I went for this back to basics, simple but with very good wind protection stove. Contrary to what a viewer says here the stove can be used with a Calor gas cylinder. Just install a Calor regulator to it. If you use a Campingaz R cylinder like the 907, you can buy an original Campingaz adapter (Campingaz 32417) Calor to Campingaz R cylinder and put it between the Calor regulator and the Campingaz R cylinder. The stove works very well under high winds and is made of good quality steel. It feels to me as made of an equivalent quality to a US Coleman 424 gasoline suitcase stove. (Campingaz is improving under Coleman ownership!). The only failure of this stove is that the clasp that holds the stove closed and the knobs are all made of very brittle plastic that breaks easily. Given that these bits all stick out from the main outline, they are certain to be hit by any rough treatment and will quickly break. In order to avoid breaking the knobs and the clasp I keep the stove in an original Campingaz Two Burner Stove Carry Bag (Campingaz 202680R) with the knobs facing up. This Campingaz carry bag fits like a glove to this stove and it protects it well.
Good cooking with high winds, high quality steel
Claps that holds closed breaks if not very careful

Good product if you can buy campingaz bottles. Is it just me, or is campingaz the most expensive gas on the market? Cooks really well (rice in regulation 20 mins and heats pan of water in about 5.
needs campingaz and difficult to regulate
