    • Well designed phone mount

      DEEPAK (India)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I have been using the phone mounts for a couple of years now & this is a replacement for the 300xl.
The design is well thought out. The placement & the protection pad works well for my bike. The locking strap keeps it secure. Touchscreen touches work seamlessly & button clicks work well for my phone. It stayed right in place through some bumpy ride sections & long rides.
    • Working only when new

      P.D. (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
After several months of use (3 - 4 rides weekly) velcro fastening doesn't stay firm on stem and when it started raining during my ride last week - holder fell off twice during my ride (and I have noticed only because I was listening to the music via bluetooth and lost connection). This is another Decathlon Cycling product that has a very poor velcro quality. I am very disappointed as other Decathlon products are excellent.

Money thrown away. In less than 15 days loses all practicality does not lock anymore.

    • Has limitations

      Natasha (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Fits well on riverside 500 stem, doesn’t wobble even on very bumpy tracks. Agree that with iPhone 7 it’s tight so home button doesn’t work. This is fine so long as you’re set up on the app you need before putting into the sleeve and attaching to bike. Overall, it did the job but improvements could be made.
    • Very useful. Check if it works well with your stem

      Luciano (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Used on a 4-days-long touring trip.

What went well: phone was securely mounted, touch input worked well, phone holder took some light rain without getting wet inside.

What went less well: to take phone out of holder I had take undo the top flap and the strap that attaches holder to stem, which made it impractical to use the same phone to take pictures. The handlebar stem in that particular bike has a steep angle up, which made it difficult to read the map on the phone. It worked very well with other bikes, though.

Veredict: very useful and good value, but check that the handlebar stem in your bike is mostly flat and be aware that it may be impractical to use the same phone for navigation and taking photos if using this phone holder.
