    • Good until it's not.

This tent is big. It's got loads of room for a living space and plentof sleeping space. It goes up very quick and very easy. It is a bit on the heavy side and when packed away still quite large. The biggest draw back about this tent, and I'd imagine all the quechua air tents is, getting a replacement inner tube. It's been a few months now and my tent is still unusable.
    • Great tent!

I used this tent at the weekend for two night and was very impressed with it. It was very hot outside yet the tent remained cool the majority of the time. Nice and dark inside also once the bedroom doors are closed.

There does appear to be a major design floor however (please correct me if I'm wrong). The main tent door has two vertical zips and yet no horizontal zip at the bottom to secure the opening. This caused my dog to escape in the night on the first night. The second night I tied her lead to a suitcase inside the tent and was awoken by her attempting to drag the suitcase through the gap in the tent door. Is there a way of securing the tent completely from anyone/anything getting in or out?
    • Luxury festival camp made easy

I bought this tent for me and a friend who go to music festival's in this and abroad. We are both well over 6' and 20at we had plenty of space it nice to be able to stand up straight in side a tent. It's so easy to put up took us 15 minutes. The fresh and black element of the tent is a God send at the first festival we use the tent temperatures were in the mid 30's. Inside the tent was cooler than standing under our groups gazebo and kept beer at a chilled drinkable level and none of the waking up at 8a.m. Drenched in sweat my mate managed to stay a sleep till midday. The other people in my group were that impressed they are looking to purchase similar tents for next year
    • Traded Up

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I had been using a Vango 8 man tent for about 15 years and wanted to try an air frame tent for ease - as camping tends to be with only 1 or 2 of our four children it also seemed a good time to downsize. This tent did not disappoint. I had it pegged out and erected in less than ten minutes and took only another 5 minutes to peg out the lines. The compartments are smaller than we are used to but that's no surprise is it!
The rooms are dark enough to keep the children asleep much longer than in the old tent as the sunrise would wake them early. We had some rain and all was good and dry on the inside.
I had worried that there might be some air leakage from the frame but none at all over the weekend.
I managed to take all down and back into the bag on my own quite easily.
Recommendation, take a tarpaulin to use as a footprint and it helps keep it clean as well as keeping the weather out when dismantling and wanting to keep the tent dry. Do Decathlon do a footprint?
I also bought the carpet for the inside which was good underfoot. Planning to buy the shelter ahead of the next trip.
    • Great...until the valve came loose

We bought the 4.2XL (an earlier version) a couple of years ago and really liked it - brilliantly easy to put up and very roomy inside. However, on its 5th outing, when we tried to put it up at the campsite we discovered that one of the valves had perished and separated from the inner tube housing. It wasn't fixable and we had to buy an emergency replacement tent in a hurry.
