    Product feature
    1. 3 levels of waterproofing
During the waterproofing tests, we test 3 levels of waterproofing, with 2 000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 4 km walk), 4 000 flexes (approx. equivalent to an 8 km walk) and 8 000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 16 km walk). Of course, after this test or in use, the shoe regains its original waterproofing once the product is dry.
    2. Footwear waterproofing test
The 300 Warm Children's boots are waterproof up to 4,000 flexes.
    3. Field tests
All our boots are tested in use and for comfort by users who are representative of the target market under conditions that replicate those you will experience in use. Our Missions Tests link up the product manager with people who are not affiliated to Quechua to test, develop and approve the products.
    4. Measurement of the boots' thermal insulation
It was not previously possible to measure precisely the temperature at which your footwear would still insulate your feet from the cold. Now it can be done: the temperature limits for use are shown on your Quechua boots. Using subjective sensory chill tests conducted in the field and in the lab with a panel of customers, we measure the thermal resistance of our boots when the user is moving and stationary. We take into consideration the differences between men and women.
    5. Lab tests
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: attachment of eyelets and straps, fixtures, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion and premature ageing.
    Product testing
    1. Composition
fabric and synthetic upper with waterproof coating, synthetic lining with waterproof and breathable membrane, rubber sole.
    2. Storage advice
Store in a dark, dry and well-ventilated place.
    3. Cleaning advice
Wash in clean water without rubbing. Do not dry near a heat source. Re-waterproof regularly using a suitable product.
    4. Product restrictions
Not suitable for snow-shoeing or glacier hiking.
    5. Product catchline
Waterproof and breathable ankle boots. Their wide opening and riptab make them very comfortable to use.

    • Not appropriate for hiking, far from waterproof

I bought these boots for my Iceland trip and they were a bit disappointing. Price was really good, but they are not hiking boots, they should not be place in this category. When I went for glacier hiking, I could not use them as they are too soft in the ankle area and the crampons can hurt you. So I had to hire the proper ones. Plus, waterproofness is aguable. I had to walk under the rain for an hour or two and they got my feet completely wet. They are also hard to dry. I had to use my hairdryer to be able to use them, and after 12 -14 hours, they were still a bit wet. Very comfortable tho. I would recommend them, depending on what you want them for. Definitely not hiking

    • Good Customer Service

Although the size is a bit smaller than expected, the customer service is so good to make us so happy. Originally, I ordered size EU37. After package is received and tried, I found that the size is smaller than normal EU 37 size. Maybe due to the show shell materials. Then, I asked for a return.

Customer service just asked a simple question and refund is made on next day after I returned the product to their office. very quick and good service

For other customer, better to order one size bigger than your current shoe size.
