    Product feature
    1. Footwear waterproofing test.
These boots, which are laboratory and field tested, provide optimum waterproofing and breathability. The boots are initially immersed in water with pressurised air inside to check for bubbles on the surface of the boot. Next, shoes are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking, half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry.
    2. 3 levels of waterproofing.
During the waterproofing tests, we test 3 levels of waterproofing, with 2000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 4 km walk), 4000 flexes (approx. equivalent to an 8 km walk) and 8000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 16 km walk). Of course, after this test or in use, the shoe regains its original waterproofing once dry.
    3. Boot waterproofing.
The 100 Active Warm are waterproof up to 8 000 flexes.
    4. SNOWCONTACT technology.
SNOWCONTACT soles are made using a special component. Designs are optimised to provide excellent all-terrain grip and maximal traction all winter long. What's more, the SNOWCONTACT soles are more efficient than traditional soles on snow.
    5. Measurement of the boots' thermal insulation.
It was not previously possible to give a precise idea of the temperature at which your shoes would still insulate your feet from the cold. Now it can be done: the temperature limits for use are shown on your Quechua shoes. Using cold sensing tests while hiking and in the lab with a panel of customers, we measured the thermal resistance of our shoes. This is how we pinpoint the comfort temperature (100% satisfaction) and the limit temperature (70% satisfaction).

      Stacey (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Such a more sensible option than cheap rubber wellies - my twins wear these to forest school - and they are super padded and cosy warm inside - I bought them for me & my husband we were so impressed! 10/10
    • Warm, waterproof and they fit

      Adrienne (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
My son used these here in the U.K. and in a cold very snowy France. He played for hours in deep snow, making snow men and shelters and played. He used them to walk along the impassable snow filled and icy road to where we were staying. They were great, being comfortable and staying dry and warm, plus a fraction of the price of other snow boots I looked at.
    • Great snow boot Great price

Great snow boot for a fantastic price
My wee one loves these and even wears them on a very frosty morning on his way to school, he calls them his toasty toe boots. Great tread on sole
    • great boots

      Jayne (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
My 6 year wore a pair of these on a weekend break to Oslo. The boots suited her just fine, especially as she wore them with a pair of skiing socks too.

She has wide feet and she got her foot in, despite there being no side zip.
    • Comfy boots
