I bought this for my 14 year old grandson to replace one he has outgrown. It was easy to put together - just the pedals to fit and handlebars to straighten. My grandson loves it! The gears are easy to use and the saddle height easy to adjust.
The only slight problem is that the screw to adjust the forward/backward position of the saddle won't unlock - hence 4 stars instead of 5. Fortunately the position is ok for my grandson, though it would have been perfect slightly further forward.

When i first got this bike i was amazed at the cheap price despite all the things you get. After a couple of months however the brakes started to squeal awfully apparently because of the painted rims. To make things worse the derailleur is bolted to the frame and not to a piece of metal like all other bikes. This wouldnt be a problem but my frame has cracked for some weird reason and has caused it to bend making the bike practically impossible to ride! Hopefully someone from Decathlon will see this review and would be able to help me as I am aware the frame is under warranty as my bike is only a year old.
