    Product feature
    1. Field testing of products
All Newfeel children's shoes/trainers are tested in the field in conditions identical to those your children might encounter everyday, both indoors and outdoors before being brought to market. These tests allow us to improve and validate the quality of our shoes.
    2. Lab tests
Laboratory tests are carried out by Newfeel to validate the properties and benefits of walking shoes/trainers such as flexibility (elasticity), abrasion (wear) of the sole, adhesion between the upper and the outsole, etc.
    3. Orthopaedic soles
For use with "orthopaedic" insoles, take one size up or remove the removable insoles!
    4. Heel support
For better hold of the foot inside the shoes, all Newfeel children's models have a specially designed high-quality heel stiffener.
    5. Should you choose one size above the child's shoe size so that they can wear their shoes for longer?
No! If the shoe is too large you child's foot will not be supported properly, especially around the heel. The foot can thus go off to the sides and the shoe is no longer "one" with the foot. The child would therefore risk changing their natural gait, causing it to be compensated for by the knees, hips and back. Nevertheless, the child's foot should not be held too tightly in the shoe. There should be a 6 mm gap between the tip of the foot and the front of the shoe.
    6. How to check that the chosen size for my child's shoes is the right one?
The child should first place their foot right to the front of the shoe. You should then press the palm of your hand down on the front of the child's foot to ensure the toes are not curled up.Try and fit your finger down the back of the shoe, behind the heel (right to the bottom) to see if there is enough space (6 mm).If it is a thin finger, the tip of your finger will be about 10mm thick. If you can squeeze it in but it is tight then that's a perfect fit!For more information see www.newfeel.com
    7. Is it preferable to choose shoes/trainers with a marked "arch of the foot"?
No! 90% of children are born with healthy feet. They don't have flat feet, they have fleshy feet! As they grow up their feet develop muscle and the arch of the foot forms. Using an arch means using a prosthesis! When it is no longer there (barefoot or shoes with no arch), the body seeks to compensate for this imbalance which can lead to back pains. For more information see www.newfeel.com.
    8. My little one gets through shoes like nothing else - how can I choose the most durable pair?
Children tend to wear the front of their shoes more. Pay special attention to the level of the sole. A naturally durable material like rubber will last longer. A sole that "envelops" the foot or even a rising sole will also serve as a "bumper". For the top, you should know that leather is a guarantee of durability and a specially adapted reinforcement will limit premature wear. For more information see www.newfeel.com.

    • Please continue to manufacture these shoes

      Ingrid (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
I hope these shoes will still be made/ stocked by decathlon as I have found them excellent and have bought several pairs. I especially liked the range of colours available. They are also very quick and easy to take on and off . I have noticed that they haven't been in stock at my local store for quite some time so may be lack of availability may be to blame if not many are being sold.
      Comfy, long lasting, good price

I am wearing these for 2 months now, but they look like new. The sizing is a bit tight though, so next year I will buy one size bigger
liked quality, price and how it looks like
    • Solid kids trainers

      PATRICIA (United Kingdom)
Used for 7 to 12 months
We are on the second pair of these trainers and will replace with another pair once they start getting too small.
They have outlasted so many other trainers, cheaper and more expensive and still looked good. No other trainer can take the toe scraping punishment our boy gives out on his scooter, no peeling at all at he toe rand. Excellent
      Hard wearing and comfortable
    • Good
