    1. How to adjust your skipping rope
      Remove the end of the handle. To determine the right length for your skipping rope, place your foot in the middle of the rope and lift the handles up either side of your body. For beginners, or to be more comfortable, the handles should come up to your shoulders. For advanced skippers, the rope can be shorter, coming up to your lower ribs or navel. Cut off the extra rope, do not put it back inside the handle.
    2. Advantages of skipping ropes
      Skipping is an effective way of burning calories, losing weight, slimming your figure and even having a flat tummy. It is a simple, all-round exercise that improves balance and encourages good posture. Skipping works the lower-body muscles, while the weights tone your forearms and arms. With the right technique, this sport can boost endurance.
    3. Enjoy skipping without the risk of injury
      Correct technique involves jumping with your stomach tight, contracting the abdominal muscles; your pelvis should be well tucked in to avoid arching your back (which can cause back pain and injury). For beginners, to improve jumping and balance, we recommend doing 2 jumps for each rotation of the skipping rope: alternate twice on the right foot, then twice on the left foot. We strongly recommend wearing trainers to cushion impacts
    4. Burning energy
      15 minutes of skipping is the equivalent of 30 minutes of jogging. 1 hour of skipping burns up to 725 calories!

      If you want to loose weight then skip for 20 sec burst 3 times i e 1 minute minimum everyday and you will see the changes :)

      I bought this from my nearby store hoping of some exicting workout. Unboxed the rope , length was perfect for me. I thought of starting my workout next day. Everything was going nice ,the ball bearings were perfect for a few days. One day as I was skipping rope something snapped and rope got cut from one handle. So I took the rope and putted it back in the handle( threw away the same part of rope which was inside the rope) 3 -4 days past and the same happened again. There is something in the handle which cuts rope and I dont recommend this rope. I am a jump rope ninja , have used many ropes before and even a local 250rs work better than this. Did not expected this for you guys.

      At the outset, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and also as the product has not met your expectations. 
      The skipping rope is made up of 100% Poly Vinyl chloride PVC and the handle is made up of 50% Polyurethane. We will definitely have this feedback shared with the concerned team for them to dig deeper into this issue. This is the first time that our customers have had this issue where the rope gets cut from the handle. Ideally this rope is meant for users who skip regularly and quite rightly most appropriate for you.

      I request you to walk into the nearest Decathlon store and have this product exchanged for a new one at your convenience. I remain available for any further queries or clarifications.
