    • Kip Run trainers last ..

      Dingle (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
Great cushioning for long distance running
      Good for Iron man etc
Narrow fit. Laces too short and easily Frey.

It has taken me weeks of searching high and low to find the right shoes as a new runner. I got a gait analysis done (after being advised to) and felt a bit pressured into buying some Brooks trainers for £115 as a result. They went back as they didn't even fit me properly and were too small. Then I bought some great looking Asics for online, but they didn't fit either - this time too big, even though they were the size recommended for me in the shop. Finally, I tried these and wow, they actually are the perfect size - half a size up from my normal shoe. I took them for their first run today and they are fab - just like running on air, but with support too as I overpronate. They are excellent and I wish I'd known about Decathlon shoes at the start - I only heard about them on the Couch to 5k forum online and am very grateful - if you can get a lovely, comfy pair of perfect fitting trainers for £60 why would you want to pay £115?
      Lovely and cushiony, good support
None that I can think of - I love them!
    • Good support & cushioning

I have been training in these for the last 10 weeks for my 1st ever 5k run. They certainly give support to my ankles & feet and I have not had the sore feet and ankles & shins that I was getting running in my previous Nikes. I am a heel striker and the doughnut cushion in the heel also protects against the shock waves that would go up my skins to my knees. The only issue I have is how bulky they are but then to get that level of support and cushioning I guess they need to be. Certainly a good buy and along with compression sleeves they have helped keep me injury free as a new runner (who is also quite heavy and so more prone to shit splints on two counts). This are great for longer running / jogging sessions but may be too heavy and bulky for sprinters.
    • I ran on clouds

      Lorraine (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
So I have been running for about 30 years and have been a loyal supporter of Asecs for the last 15.
Well, a week before the Brighton marathon, I needed to do the worst thing ever and get some new shoes for the race. Glad t did as these Kiprun LD Running shoes are great. So glad I bought them.
Best choice. They have lots of ankle support and are much more comfortable than my 3 month old Asecs. Will never go back to anyother brand.
Not only that but the young sales assistant thought they were so great, he had two pairs of the male version.
SOLD! I've since given my 3 month old Asecs away.
