    5. WIND RESISTANCE

    6. WATERPROOFING
The waterproofing of QUECHUA tents is tested on the complete tent, under 200 litres water/hour/sqm (200mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (= mm schmerbers) only measures the waterproofing of the fabric. Our test enables the ingress of water through seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc to be prevented.

This was a great piece of kit. Very easy to put together I did it for the first time and on my own in 15 minutes. Big enough for table and chairs for my family of 5 with kitchen equipment. Three opening sides are a great idea. Love it!

    • fast to pitch but could be better

This is lovely size and easy to put up. could be genius though for people who want this as a "drive away" type awning. If plastic option was also over the side netting then when it rains you can see out. Currently when closed - no windows. if front could have been made to use as canopy. more fixing points for pegs. would pay more if product had those extras.
    • Well thought out for flexibility and well made

Bought this for extra space on camping trips, used only once in wet, windy conditions, no problems with stability or water ingress. Zip close half and half doors/walls are an excellent feature, which offer flexibility for pitching alongside our tent. Relatively easy to pitch, considering sturdiness of frame. Good fabric - light, easy to dry but strong. Very glad we purchased this rather than the usual fold up gazebo. Would agree that a few more pegging points would be nice - will be adding with tarp clips and bungees. Packs down to a sensible size. Nice looking thing.
      Flexible design, sturdy, attractive colours.
Cheapo pegs supplied - replaced immediately

We ordered this on Saturday, and it arrived on Monday morning. Great service, and a brilliant product which is easy to put up and take down.

Great build quality - sturdy frame, and the fabric is strong and I expect will last for many years.
