    1. Feather origin
We are committed to being responsible for our production, we have decided to work only with RDS certified suppliers (Responsible Down Standard Certified) that guarantee that the down and feathers used come from ducks and geese bread for their meat, and treated without cruelty. For more information:
    2. Fill Power of the down/feather filling
This 85% down / 15% feather down gilet has a guaranteed fill power of 800 CUIN. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
    3. Fill Weight
      XS: 75 g S: 79 g M: 85 g L: 91 g XL: 98 g 2XL: 105 g 3XL: 112 g
    4. The advantages of down and feather filling*
The down's long-lasting fill power gives it 3 important qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra-lightweight: with equal warmth feather is lighter than synthetic insulation. This saves even more weight in your backpack - Ultra-compressible
    5. Care advice for a gilet filled with down and feathers.
The gilet will be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking the link below: How to wash and dry your down jacket
    6. The advantages of a gilet
A gilet helps to keep the body warm: it protects the chest, neck and lower back from the cold, as these areas are especially sensitive to the cold. Because it is sleeveless, it saves weight in the backpack and is even more breathable when making a physical effort and is extremely comfortable in movement when worn under a jacket. Worn underneath the TREK 500 jacket, it can provide 6°C extra warmth when compared to a down jacket worn without a gilet.
    7. In the event of rain
This gilet's fabric is water repellent. It allows drops of water to slide off the fabric which delays penetration of water into the gilet while you get out of the rain. But the gilet is not waterproof. We therefore recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the gilet in the event of prolonged exposure to rain.
    8. A score for comparing the products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most environmentally-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental data of its products. For more information:

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Very reasonably priced its that light weight you don't even feel you've got it on. And is very good when the Chill is in the air.
    • good

    • Light weight, cosy and stylish jacket

      KL (India)
Used for 7 to 12 months
The sleevless down jacket comes very useful when trekking in the himalayan region. It is handy being light weight during sudden change of climates which have become more frequent with global warming effects. Sleevless with zipper provides many options to face weather changes. A must keep item for those going to touch the snow line in Himalays. Can use with casuals in winters in city life too. More value for money bargain on off season discounts.
    • comfortable

      jon (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
smallish on the fit, and the zip feels cheap and catches on the internal baffle easily - so go a size bigger than you normally wear - but comfortable and warm
    • Perfect for Autumn

      Vladimir (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought this as I needed something that would keep me warm during walks and singletrack cycling, but was not too bulky or interfered with my riding and it is perfect. Warm and easy to use...just waiting for winter to see if it is usable, but if not can be easily stored away until spring.
