    • Great shoes

      Karen (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Bought them for my sons birthday and he loves them. Sturdy and comfortable he is is using them with cleats.
    • Decided to return

      Craig (United Kingdom)

As I wanted to use these without cleats for a 500 mile cycle over about ten days I decided to return them because there's no cleat covers like is mentioned in other reviews. These would have been perfect for me without the place for the cleats as they're stiff enough to improve my pedal power and prevent metatarsal pain but not too stiff that I couldn't walk a few hundred metres in them when I get off the bike.
    • Great shoes, would recommend

      Richard (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
The only problem I found was the top of the shoe rubbing the front of my ankle, however, by not lacing the top set of eyelets this was solved. Perfect.
    • Shoe quality

      Malcolm (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Excellent shoe, very comfortable, but make sure you get one size up from your normal shoe size, as they can be a little bit firm fitting.
    • Not sure..

I too have bought these not appreciating that they don't come with blanking plates. Not sure why Shimano would supply them without. I also think Decathlon need to make it alot clearer that they do not come with plates.
Anyways, given the current weather, I haven't worn them out, and am tempted to take them back. As I'm struggling to find blanking plates for them anywhere - apart from a seller on amazon, who want about 20quid with delivery.. (any help would be appreciated).
As for the shoe, it seems good quality, but I may never know how well they perform on the bike.
      Response of the brand
      Dear Sir,
Thank you for giving us this feedback. You are correct that shimano no longer supplies cleat hole covers with the majority of their shoes. A common solution to prevent water from seeping in from the outsole is to remove the insole and block up the holes with a few strips of insulation or duck tape. This creates an effective barrier as riders with cleats also need to keep their feet dry. I do so and it works well enough. It's also worth noting that if it rains water also seeps in from the uppers and as these are not waterproof shoes your feet will get wet unless you use waterproof socks or thick neoprene overshoes.
We do note in the product description that this shoe does not come with cleat hole covers and we do not display any image on the site with cleat covers.
