    Product feature
    1. WATERPROOFING of the Tribord S500 dinghy/catamaran jacket:
This windproof jacket was laboratory tested under a shower of 100 litres of water / m² / hour for 3 hours, which corresponds to a steady downpour of rain. This test demonstrates that the water does not pass through either the sealed seams or the fabric. The adjustments and fabrics at the extremities (neck, waistband and cuffs) prevent water getting in while in a static position and greatly reduce it during physical exertion.
    2. Adjustments of the Tribord S500 dinghy/catamaran sailing anorak: NECK FASTENING
The neck with its flexible fabrics can be adjusted in 2 ways: * closing the half zip with its pull cord positioning the "wallet-like” pleats inside the waterproof fabric (depending on the shape of the neck, it is recommended to fold the fabric in your hand to avoid wrinkles) * closing the smooth outer fabric with the rip-tab.
    3. Adjustments of the Tribord S500 dinghy/catamaran sailing anorak: WAISTBAND AND WRISTS
For more waterproofing, less wind entry and greater freedom of movement: * the belt is made of flexible neoprene, adjustable by 2 rip-tabs positioned on the right and left of the waistband * the cuffs are made of a smooth, flexible and waterproof fabric, adjustable by a rip-tab (for small cuffs, the fineness of the fabric allows a clean fold).
    4. Glove storage in the Tribord S500 dinghy/catamaran sailing jacket:
There are 2 small fabric straps sewn on each side of the neoprene belt. They are for hanging or sticking mittens or gloves in (hanging mittens or gloves by their rip-tabs), so as to not get in the way before or after practice.
    5. The shoulder pocket of the Tribord S500 dinghy/catamaran sailing jacket:
The size of the shoulder pocket was designed so as not to be cumbersome or too heavy in order to not hinder manoeuvres or movement. Its design and tests were therefore carried out with a standard size penknife, a rope and a snack of 2 cereal bars. The contents remain stable in the pocket and remain accessible.
    6. Technical information on waterproofing:
Fabric is waterproof for 10,000 mm as a new product. Fabric is waterproof for 2000 mm after 5 machine washes without having re-waterproofed the jacket. Waterproofing for 2000 mm tested on the seams after 3 washes.
    Product testing
    1. Composition
Main fabric : 100.0% Polyamide (PA)
    2. Storage advice
Once dry, store on a hanger or fold it. After use, rinse with fresh water to remove salt that will deteriorate the rip-tabs and zips. Do not dry directly on heat sources (such as a radiator).
    3. Product catchline
Windproof and waterproof, this jacket offers effective protection against the elements and ensures total freedom of movement when sailing. Ingenious with its shoulder pocket and glove storage!
    4. Lab tested
Developed and tested by our design teams in Hendaye (France). Tested during training and regattas by 47°Nautik nautical bases (Gulf of Morbihan, Vannes, Brittany - France) during the 2016 season.
