    Product feature
    1. What is the advantage of a feather jacket?
Renowned as the ultimate solution in terms of insulation, down and feathers offer an unbeatable warmth/weight ratio. A feather and down filling is highly compressible, light and warm, for a lightweight yet very insulating product.
    2. Water often gets in through the seams. Does my jacket have taped seams?
The jacket offers a top-quality down finish. The traditional seams have been replaced with a hot-melt system. This offers 2 advantages: not only is the product significantly more waterproof, but the absence of seams also makes the product totally watertight and greatly reduces loss of feathers.
    3. What is a membrane and what's it for?
The membrane is a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the outer fabric. It is hydrophilic and prevents water from getting in while wicking away the perspiration produced by the body. A membrane is essential for staying warm and dry.
    4. How can I be sure my jacket will give me proper protection in bad weather?
The Slide 900 jacket was rigorously developed and assembled to prevent water from entering and reduce wind chill, in order to cope more effectively with bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.). To check that it is waterproof, this jacket was placed in a special shower reproducing the conditions a skier has to cope with. We approved this product's waterproofing by skiing in different weather conditions for several days.
    5. How can I best insulate my head and hands?
The cuffs have adjustable velcro tabs that go over or under the gloves providing a better seal, so that snow and unpleasant cold draughts cannot get in. And because the cold can cause irritations, Wed'ze has included soft, fleece chin protection to protect your face and prevent irritation to your neck and chin.
    6. How should I dress to avoid feeling cold on the slopes?
To keep warm and dry, use the 3-breathable-layers rule: 1 ski base layer and 1 liner jacket for keeping warm, 1 ski jacket to protect you from bad weather.
    7. How can I prevent snow from getting in when I fall?
The snow skirt is a protection system at waist level that closes with press studs at the bottom of the ski or snowboard jacket. It prevents snow and air from entering when on the slopes, especially in the event of a fall.
    8. Where can I put my ski pass when taking ski lifts?
You no longer need to get out your ski pass! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket for quick access to the lifts.
    9. How can I be sure my jacket is strong enough?
We know how much energy is expended during a day's skiing or snowboarding. That’s why we take particular care in choosing all the elements that make up our products to guarantee the best possible protection.

Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric coating. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
    4. Product catchline
In addition to their waterproofing, the seams are heat-bonded to ensure a perfect seal. This will prevent feathers from escaping and sticking to all your clothing!

    • Waterproof! I think not

This has to be the worst jacket I have even had. It’s not waterproof at all. The 10000mm mebrane must have been forgoton on my jacket. First lift up and short ran down and I was soaked in light rain. I now have to go and purchase another jacket from a local retailer at extortionate prices. It will be getting returned when I get back.

Disappointed with the fit - very wide on shoulders and narrow on hips! Made my son look like he was on steroids. Despite being very warm, we had to return it as he looked like an inverted Christmas tree.....
      Response of the brand
      Dear sir,

Thank you for your feedback. As we want to avoid anyone else looking like they're on steroids or like an inverted Christmas tree, I will make sure our product managers receive your feedback and work on the fit of this product for next season.

I would recommend trying this jacket for your son: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/slide-500-mens-black-id_8398204.html
The fit is a bit more straight but it won't be as warm as the Slide 700 Warm jacket.

If you have any further questions or feedback, please feel free to call our customer loyalty team.

      Have a nice day,
